Common Surgeries

hand and wrist surgery
When hand and wrist injuries don't respond to other treatment methods, surgery may be the best option. Common hand and wrist surgeries include:
Surgeries
Trigger finger release

Your surgeon will make a cut into the tissue over the tendon that is restricting finger movement. Patients are typically able to move their finger easier almost immediately after surgery.

Carpal tunnel release

This surgery relieves pressure on the median nerve by cutting through the carpal tunnel ligament. This can involve one or several small incisions on the palm side of the wrist.

Treatment of fractures

Some fractures may require surgery to hold your bones in place so that they can properly heal.
