Through the year, the Evangelical Community Hospital Foundation coordinates several major events related to the the hospital’s philanthropic efforts.

The Ambassador Challenge

The Ambassador Challenge, a month-long fundraising competition held in May, where the Ambassadors promote the hospital’s mission, and encourage donations that support hospital services and programs. The challenge includes an online auction full of interesting items and adventures. Funds raised support the Evangelical Care Fund.

Cookin' for a Cause

The Cookin’ for a Cause event is held annually in October with local celebrity chefs turning up the heat on breast cancer awareness by creating culinary delights for people to enjoy while raising funds to support WellSpan Center for Breast Health. Celebrity chefs compete in advance of the event to raise the most funds to earn the honor of being named Top Chef at the event an earn a place of honor for their cooking station.

Golf Classic

The Annual Golf Classic is held the first Friday of August each year to support the work of Evangelical Regional Mobile Medical Services. Funds raised through sponsorships, golfer participation, and on-course contests are used for training, equipment, and other needs of the hospital's emergency responders.

Lights of Love

Lights of Love offers an opportunity to honor and remember family, friends, and loved ones by placing their names on the honoree listing. Loved ones will be honored in the WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital Meditation Garden located inside the Main Entrance of the hospital. The lights in the Meditation Garden will be lit throughout the months of November and December with the lights bringing recognition to special individuals living and to those who are no longer with us.
