Board of Directors, New and Returning Appointments

Evangelical Community Hospital has announced new and returning Board of Directors leadership and appointments. The Board of Directors, made up of members of the community and Medical Staff, serve to guide the Hospital in meeting the healthcare needs of the area.

Leadership for the next year is Timm Moyer, co-founder of MoJo active, Inc., as Chair of the Board, and Jeffrey Kapsar, President and CEO of Mifflinburg Bank & Trust, as Vice Chair, who was also re-elected to a three-year term on the Board.

Also re-elected for three-year terms for the Class of 2026 were Timothy Apple, Director of Sales for Contrast; Susan Fetterman, Independent Healthcare Consultant; and Roger Haddon Jr., President and CEO of Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation.

Maria Fasano Bhangdia, MD, will serve as a new Medical Staff Representative beginning in January 2024, and will serve a three-year term. She joins John Turner, MD, FACS, Surgeon, Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health, who will serve as Medical Staff President, and Matthew Eager, MD, Surgeon, SUN Orthopaedics of Evangelical will serve as Medical Staff Vice President.

Corporate Officers of the Board remain as Kendra A. Aucker, President; James A. Stopper, Treasurer; and William Anderson III, Corporate Secretary.
