Evangelical Community Hospital Emergency Physician Earns Master’s Degree in Medical Management

Philip Peterson, MD, Emergency Medicine Physician at Evangelical Community Hospital, recently earned his Master of Medical Management for Physicians Degree (MMM) from Carnegie Mellon University-Heinz College, Pittsburgh.

The MMM is a cohort-based, professional degree program exclusively for physicians with five or more years of post-residency experience, designed to promote effective management techniques among health care practitioners.

Dr. Peterson has been an Emergency Medicine Physician with the Emergency Medicine Group of Evangelical since 2017. Dr. Peterson specializes in rapid recognition and treatment of trauma and acute illness.

Dr. Peterson received his medical degree from the Ohio State University – College of Medicine and completed his internship and medical residency at Drexel University, Philadelphia. He is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
