Our Mission:

Our team understands that breast cancer is a very personal disease. Yet, it often affects a patient’s entire family.

We also know that, even though breast cancer has one of the most favorable survival rates of all forms of cancer, successful treatment depends on:

Our Medical Director

John F. Turner, MD, FACS, is Medical Director of the WellSpan Center for Breast Health.

A dedicated breast surgeon with more than 24 years of surgical experience, Dr. Turner was instrumental in the Center’s development. His focus and passion are on providing patients with the highest standards of care.

Dr. Turner received his medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Temple University and Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Turner also is certified in stereotactic biopsy and breast ultrasound by the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
