National Senior Health and Fitness Day Being Held Wednesday, May 25, 2022

Evangelical Community Hospital’s Community Health and Wellness Department is holding National Senior Health and Fitness Day on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 9 am-noon at the Miller Center, 120 Hardwood Drive, Lewisburg. The event is graciously sponsored by Asbury RiverWoods.

This 29th annual event is the largest of its kind held for older adults. It is designed to provide an overview of resources available in the local community with the common goal of keeping older Americans healthy and fit.

The free event is an open-house format and individuals are invited to attend the entire time or stop in for a quick visit. The day includes visits with vendors, free health screenings, and a variety of instructor led activities.

Highlighted activities include:

• Pickleball available during the entire event.
• A Silver Sneakers demonstration at 10 am.
• Golf simulator demonstrations during the entire event.
