WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital is here for you before, during, and after your surgery. We’ll make sure you know everything you need to know prior to your procedure. Afterward, your surgeon will work closely with other WellSpan Evangelical departments to provide you with comprehensive, individualized care. Our goal is your full recovery.

- Weight loss surgery (vertical sleeve gastrectomy)
- Vascular surgery (arterial bypass/stent and varicose vein surgery)
- Minimally invasive surgery (hysterectomy, chronic acid reflux surgery, hernia repair, appendectomy)
- Orthopaedics (arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery; total hip and knee replacement; spine surgery; surgery of the foot and ankle and hand and wrist)
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery (breast reconstruction following mastectomy)
- Urology (prostate, kidney, and bladder surgery)
- Gynecology (stress incontinence surgery, hysterectomy, fibroid removal, and other GYN surgeries)

Comprehensive Care
Our comprehensive, outpatient care after surgery includes:
- Balance and fall prevention
- Cancer care/oncology programs
- Endoscopy/GI lab (outpatient colonoscopy and esophagoscopy)
- Hand therapy
- Infusion therapy
- Lymphedema treatment
- Pain-management
- Physical and occupational therapy (following total joint replacement)
- Physical rehabilitation, such as acute rehabilitation, occupational therapy, and speech therapy (available in Lewisburg and Middleburg)
